You are never to slim for this!

I was gonna sleep before I came across this video Senn took from MBM Family Day back in June 08.

I was invited by Low Wan Fung (the one in the red cawat) to be his opponent.Nak tunjuk hebat depan our colleagues la tu.lol.Funny guy still. i'm in the blue cawat anyway, looking all short and fat.Because of that, i didn't manage to wear all of the required parts of the costume, like the hand bandage sort of thing(don't know what they call it).

Funny times. The squeaky laughing sound came from my dear Senn.

Oh yes, I met Alip, Afdzal, Ciko, Hadi, Hadi Mok & Tasha at KLCC just now for lunch.

Tomorrow will be another long day of sightseeing with a friend from Singapore which have always been surprised how we can simply throw rubbish everywhere here.

Now if you excuse me, I've got some unsettled business on my bed. Expect it to be finished earliest by 12.00 pm tomorrow.

For those yang bekerja esok, this is your public service announcement : Sila pergi kerja, u know who you are.hihi.

Gute Nacht!

Eh, I'm 21 already lah!

Effective 3rd December 2008, 12.00 a.m ,

Darn it, my ING Insurance Card is not valid anymore.
So as my Malaysian Airlines super-duper discounted flight rates.

Aiyoo.

BUT!

Tak perlu pinjam IC Loubna lagi for malam-malam suka ria.
Officially an adult and legally able to decide on anything affecting my life myself.

err.apa lagi eh..
......
....

tu je ke advantage?

anyway, 21st year of my life celebrated differently from last year's.

This is how the eve of my 19th year went.

(Kena campak dalam swimming pool lepas dress up lawa2 2 tahun berturut)

But, tradition every year of makan kat Murni SS2 is still on.

After dinner, Loub decide on partying at Zouk.
Attendees : Amirul, Faiz, Loubna, Iman, Yaya, Mamal, Nad (tinggi), Paiseh, Noin.
Zouk mlm Selasa mcm tempat hip-hop dancers tunjuk skill dance yang ntah pape.
Nasib baik its my birthday, layankan je la.

Me, Mamal and Faiz yg tengah sengih kat siapa ntah

Within the 21st year of mylife, saya berharap-harap nak achieve/lakukan these things:

1) Obtain Bachelor's Degree in Business Information System by mid 2009.
2) Travel around ( at least 2 pulau and a country in another continent)
3) Buy a car
4) Sing at any gig (Musicfest/Wuhoo/Euphonious pun jadilah) with a band before i Graduate.

Thats all i can think of so far.Gila tak ber-vision.

Post on Penang Jazz Fest coming soon!

Bijou Bazaar

When Noin first contacted me asking whether im interested to join her opening up a booth at bijou, i immediately agreed thinking on those extra old-not-needed clothes i have to let go. You know, a girl always need to clear up some space in her closet for new ones to come =)

And so the day arrives, we were pretty late as we only arrived at about 3pm to Solaris Mont Kiara while the event supposedly starts at 2pm.Appearing like bimbos , we look all clueless when arranging our sale items and constantly changing the positions of the goods to make it appear more 'purchase-able'.Even when assembling the rails for clothes display, there was a point when it fell down.lol.Nasib baik ada this nice couple (part of the Bijou committee i suppose) that help us out. Maaflah, first timer.

The Booth(Excuse sepah2 kat bawah tu)

Our booth attractions are :

1) Adreen's Cupcakes & Soft Cookies (Sgt Sedap!)
2) Noin's Bed-Pod
3) Noin's Aunty Crafts
4) Noin's, Mas' and Nad's Pre-Loved Items (handbags, dresses, pants, tops, accessories etc)

Partners (plus Adreen)

The sales for Saturday was pretty impressive, each of us managed to gain profit within a few hours of selling. We were damn lazy to promote our stuff and loitered around bazaar all the time instead of taking care of our booth. Budak2 baru nak berniaga la katakan.

Orang2 yang lari sikit dari priority.haha.(says The Book of Answers)

Resistant to close down the booth, so snap snap.

Some friends showed up have made the day seem less tiring for us as we were laughing about stupid stuff and bahan-bahan some people. Thanks Anum, Dharma,Ain, Kajen, Maria, Erney, Ina, Nawal, Wina and ramai lagi of those whom i can't recall their names. Some of them who stayed till the end :Tasha, Dzul, Ikram,Ween, Ah-Cai, Zahid, Enzo & Friends, extra thanks to you guys.

Couples who stayed till the end (Tash, Zul, Mas & Acai)

So if you ask, will i do it again? Berniaga di Bijou?Definately, selling & putting stuff into plastic bags & getting cash out of it. Yes, penat, but it s worth it for the fun & experience we've got.

For sunday bijou session happenings, please refer to Noin's Post on it.

Snuffleupagus

He said it.
Azik did too.
Ain immediately laughed on that, in fact.
So it should be true?

Someone told me that I have resemblance with snuffleupaugus, a mammoth character from sesame street.

Si Snuffle Betina (semasa kecik putih sedikit)

Part mana yang sama?

Saya rasa lah :

mata yang besar.

kulit yang coklat.

bulu mata yang panjang dan tunduk ke bawah.

ye ke?

Last (three) Nights a DJ Save My Life

Never thought that statement would actually make sense, but it does now to me.

You see, last 3 nights i was in Penang with my friends in conjunction of celebrating Dzul's Birthday. The moment we depart from UTP everything was fine, road trip ambiance was there, we are so full of energy we can smack down a wooden tree house.

To cut story short, there was situations occurred which results in disappointment to everyone affected, and how it affects me have made me teary when we reached our nice Sri Sayang Apartment nearby Ferengghi Beach we've rented for the night. What a turn off, vacation mode turns into something sooo sucky, that i need to run down a few drops.

Despite that, I still say we go on with the night and do whatever we planned to do, despite of all the rumours and whatever things might be happening later - we need to go and have fun.Seriously after a day spent waiting and waiting annnnndddd waiting again, we deserve something out of it since we are in penang ain't it?

We were again soo full of energy at MOMO, dancing to any music whether its indian, chinese or just plain techno. The night turned out to be great when we were in there. Or at least the birthday boy had fun, did u Zul? And as i was standing across the dance floor a thought came to me, what kind of DJ could possibly be in Penang who spins such and ok-lah-bole-blah kind of music, which is sooo much better than RJ in Ipoh?

Well, after a minute loitering my eyes around looking for the DJ console, i found it and the DJ is the most not decently dressed - anyone wont anticipate him as a dj. Wearing Pagoda-look-a-like T-shirt, he was rather good at what he's doing rather than bajet-stylo DJs at RJ Ipoh.Seriously.

So all i got to say to him is : Thank You for making my night! What would we do without you =D

As the good mood continues to foster itself, these tells how our day in Penang ended ;

Careful Zik, we wouldnt want another tragedy

Birthday boy and Girlfriend, The Roommate

Port Cornwallis, when the sun slowly tries to flesh out more darkness out of me.

Cutting the birthday cake ceremony, with Penang Bridge in the background.

Conclusion of the trip : Travel with the right people and Road Trips with more than a car means all cars travel together.Otherwise it falls rather not in the all-together vacation kind of trip.

When Lulu thinks she's too cute

My sister is always known in the family to always have the sweetest pose & smile (or at least she thinks so) in almost ALL photos we've seen, like this one ;

Having an awesomely cute time

But then, during the raya holidays i was in shocked when i photographed her for the second time after the picture above, as this is what she did(i tell you, she NEVER did this kind of faces to take pics for) ;

Blerghhhhhhhh!

Oh well, i think she's discovered its not an IN thing anymore to be cute & take cute pictures zaman sekarang.haha.bajet betul.

p/s: I also discovered something new about us cousins poses, kami kakak kakak yang dah tua and have taken too much pics with each other and dah malas and tak ada idea nak pose, this is the hasil ;

yea..okay raya..whatever.

haha.bosan kan?a sign of a bunch of cam whores yang dah nak menopause.haha

Cheers!

Simple Things Made Me Realize About Things

Read This : Have you ever feel so joyful with no worries absolutely in a moment, and YOU think there are no way possible that can make you down and only then realize some things are missing?

Well, I have.Fair to say a few times.

I will now randomly choose some words came up in my head, and explain how it relates to my 'realize' moments.

Shopping

Fact : I haven't gone cheap apparel hunting for as long as i know as i am busy following my friends doing other activities.

Truth : I miss doing that , and I can't seem to enjoy doing it with different set of people.

Food

Fact : I have been eating chicken AGAIN as suddenly i find it tasty.

Truth : Im too lazy to walk a bit further to find nice food with NO chicken in it.And yes, I have to admit nasi ayam rempah v5 sedap!

Karaoke

Fact : A few weeks ago I can be considered as one of the karaoke junkies, as we went for at least 3 times a week. And i stopped because at some point i dont find it entertaining anymore.

Truth : I simply stopped because i dont find it worth it with how i feel after each session.

Car

Fact : I think its hard for me now having no car at the moment, as its because i always need to borrow my friend's car to go anywhere.

Truth : I think when dont have a car, I always need to follow people's choice of food, places to go, time to leave/return and such. and at some point i feel weird if i dont have a car, as when i use to have one (and i'm the ONLY one with it) , my car has been the public transportation of the year, with a few identifiable owner is being seen.(this reminds me of Wet Girls seating at the boot while me driving and at the same time running away from pak guard trying to chase us, ahhh.memories. )

You know youre watching a Malay Movie when..

Stereotype 1

The hero looks too old to be a 20 years old biker (read: Rosyam Noor in KL Menjerit), the heroin looks too 'Erra Fazira' (Wait a minute. It IsErra Fazira celluloid invasion!) and the mother of the hero looks too underaged to be a mother.

Stereotype 2

To resolve matters of the heart, the venue of choice is always at thebeach. The girl, with a pair of fake Gucci sunglasses on her head, will occupy the space under one coconut tree, while the boy will take an
adjacent one. They will refer to themselves as 'I' and 'You', and the scene will climax with the girl's face streaked with tears 'You beritahu I sekarang, you masih cintakan I ke tidak',

and the boy will run his hand through his hair (An expression of Malay angst, described by the word, 'frust menonggeng'). Oh yeah, they will then spend 10 minutes bellowing some sappy-romantic tunes on the top of their lungs even when the passerby are ogling curiously.

Stereotype 3

On the deathbed, the terminally-ill will tend to see the light, especially when surrounded by those who he or she has wronged. There will always be time to beg forgiveness from everyone (full grammatically-correct sentence, mind you) before the last breath is exhaled, usually reserved for the all-important mengucap (repentance), which is the definitive sign of insaf?!

Stereotype 4

At the hospital, a doctor will always be ambushed by anxious relatives, who will ask: 'Bagaimana keadaan dia sekarang, doktor?'.The doctor will look serious and tentative (most of the time, looks too dodgy to become a doc) maybe sigh a bit, before finally replying, 'Keadaan dia stabil.Tetapi dia perlu banyak berehat.' The doctor will also be carrying a clipboard.

Stereotype 5

The hero can gasp in awe looking at Sepang F1 Circuit, KLIA and The Petronas Twin Towers as he had just realized how developed Malaysia is after studying abroad for 7 years. (read: Cinta Kolestrol) EverHeard of Internet, Yusry? Pathetic.

Stereotype 6

Rendezvous/date is carried out at some dim-litted coffee house or fancy restaurant and the only drink you and your partner will order is orange juice. Other drinks like sirap limau or teh tarik are not classy enough.Somehow during the conversation, you will sip your drink bit by bit but never finish it all in gusto.

Stereotype 7

The boss of a company sits at his desk, usually writing longhand notes. There is no laptop nor computer on his desk. There are many ring files at the cabinet behind him. To show how important he is in the company, when he leaves his office, he tells his secretary, 'Kalau orang telefon, cakap saya ada appointment dengan Tan Sri/Dato'/Tengku'. Bimbo-looking secretary would smile sheepishly while playing with her chemically damaged hair.

Stereotype 8

Only baddies, like delinquents and drug peddlers go to nightclubs. The only good people in nightclubs are undercover policemen.

Stereotype 9

Brain tumours are cancers of choice, because sufferers get dizzy and tend to faint melodramatically. Cervical and breast cancer are like, you know, private. As for lung, colon and testicular cancer, they're just not as aesthetic on those CAT scans as the ghostly cerebral ones.

Stereotype 10

Hari Raya is the best time for character transformations. The sound of the Aidilfitri prayer call on Hari Raya morning is enough to send drug addicts, glue sniffers, drunkards, adulterers, street gang members and girls who wear too much make up into depths of remorse

I think

#1 I think you don't actually favor my presence near you, and I have proof of some nasty
words you have told about me.
(But i hate to break it to you , that your words & your disgust have no effect on me.)

#2 I think you care about me more than I think you do, but you are just like me, really just like
me.
(But im guilty of not feeling the same about you.)

#3 I think the few moments we spent together, you were just pretending to be nice with me for
someone.
(But i wont say a word, maybe just not yet.)

#4 I think those questions you asked are inappropriate, rude, selfish and i can see it in your
eyes that how badly you want to know all that.
(But i will lie to you, because not anyone can accept that fact right now.)

#5 I think, if you know what i think of you, you'll think im mean.
(But its just how I feel, and you have to accept that. After all, you can never run from me.)

My Name Means..

Alloa : I have migrated from livejournal --> blogspot. Just figured out(out of a usual boredom that strikes) blogspot is somehow a LITTLE more convenient, when for the first time i couldn't find the other way besides the HTML way of posting an entry through livejournal.

Or should i rather say changed my blog..as u tell me.any previous entries i've written on livejournal is to be seen here?

Adopted from Miss Valium, as vain as myself i would be interested on the meaning of my own name according to Blogthings :

You are the total package - suave, sexy, smart, and strong.
You have the whole world under your spell, and you can influence almost everyone you know.
You don't always resist your urges to crush the weak. Just remember, they don't have as much going for them as you do.

I mean cmon..what am I...a President?

You are truly an original person. You have amazing ideas, and the power to carry them out.
Success comes rather easily for you... especially in business and academia.
Some people find you to be selfish and a bit overbearing. You're a strong person.

How can one not be original when you just don't carve your face out of someone else's? Wel they do in some cases. But i think this one applies to everyone.D'UH

You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection.
You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive.
You have the classic “Type A” personality.

Mind to explain on type A?I only know that of my blood type.

You are wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. You're always up to something.
You have a ton of energy, and most people can't handle you. You're very intense.
You definitely are a handful, and you're likely to get in trouble. But your kind of trouble is a lot of fun.

Kind of trouble with a lot of fun...you mean consistently experincing car-out-of-gas scenario?

You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing.
You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long.
You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start .

Agree!Agree!Agree!

You are loving, compassionate, and ruled by your feelings.
You are able to be a foundation for other people... but you still know how to have fun.
Sometimes your emotions weigh you down, but you generally feel free from them.

This applies mostly during THAT time of the month for me.haha.

You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people.
You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts.
You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy. You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals.

huh?How come this blogthings can know more about myself than i do?but have to nod a bit for the jealousy part.hee.

You are balanced, orderly, and organized. You like your ducks in a row.
You are powerful and competent, especially in the workplace.
People can see you as stubborn and headstrong. You definitely have a dominant personality.

like what...the-measurement-between-my-toothbrush-and-toothpaste-must- always-be-4.5 cm kind of organized?na-ah.

You are a free spirit, and you resent anyone who tries to fence you in.
You are unpredictable, adventurous, and always a little surprising.
You may miss out by not settling down, but you're too busy having fun to care.

Yeahhhh call me hippy!

You are friendly, charming, and warm. You get along with almost everyone.
You work hard not to rock the boat. Your easy going attitude brings people together.
At times, you can be a little flaky and irresponsible. But for the important things, you pull it together.

Emm, no i dont get along with almost everyone.but yes, irresponsible describes me sometimes.

You are full of energy. You are spirited and boisterous.
You are bold and daring. You are willing to do some pretty outrageous things.
Your high energy sometimes gets you in trouble. You can have a pretty bad temper at times.

Putting up my pyjama pants in a horrible looking way while eating at the cafeteria considered outrageous? I can be Ms.Gyver then.

You are a very lucky person. Things just always seem to go your way.
And because you're so lucky, you don't really have a lot of worries. You just hope for the best in life.
You're sometimes a little guilty of being greedy. Spread your luck around a little to people who need it.

Somehow i am greedy, BUT those who are close to me knows that's for a cause ;)

You are relaxed, chill, and very likely to go with the flow.
You are light hearted and accepting. You don't get worked up easily.
Well adjusted and incredibly happy, many people wonder what your secret to life is.

Applies, but not all the time.

Running back to campus in a short while, still some packing to do.

Till the next post!
